I called first to see if they had pastels. They lady was very friendly and when i told her i wanted to use them on a chalkboard she informed me that pastels would stain it. She offered an alternative(very vibrant chalk). I went and picked it up later and it turned out to be just what i needed!

I have done business with Riverside Art for many years and have never been disappointed. The staff is always helpful and their selection is fantastic. My latest trip was just a simple framing adjustment, but while I was waiting I couldn't help but window shop. Their handcrafted cards, bags, scarves, jewelry and other items are irresistible. I ended up with some beautiful embroidered greeting cards.

Great art supplies, wonderful unique gifts made by local artists, beautiful store. Family run, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Several services such as framing and printing art to canvas, etc. Lots of parking, easy to find. One of my favorite places!
