
Can I send you my files by E-mail?
Yes, you can certainly send files under 10MB as email attachments. Just address them to services@riversideart.com. Please be sure to list all the information we need to process your order, including your name and telephone number.
What kind of files can I send?
Adobe Photoshop (PSD), Illustrator (AI), Acrobat (PDF) and most common bitmap image formats including TIF, GIF, BMP and JPEG.
Also DWF files can be plotted. We CANNOT work with DWG or DXF.
What is the FTP site?
It is a digital plan room system for managing print-ready drawings. By partnering with our reprographics department, you can access, view and manage these drawings and place print orders online. The FTP site can handle files too large to email.
How can I get started using the FTP site?
First, you will need to obtain a username and password by completing the site registration process. There is no charge to register.

How long does it take to print a job?
Large Format color printing is two days from proof approval. Most architectural work is printed within 24 hours. Lesser quantities of architectural printing are often a while you wait service.
Why do I need to see a printed proof? Can you email me a proof?
If you are reviewing a job for content only then an electronic proof is possible. We will require you to approve a printed proof when a job involves color accuracy and image quality. If you decline a printed proof we will require you to sign a waiver absolving Riverside Art from final print image, color and quality outcome. You will be responsible for payment of the printed materials.
Can you do restoration work on photographs?
Yes. Riverside Art restorations can involve variable levels of color adjustments, reparation of scratches, tears, and spots, replacement of missing image areas and even digital creation of subjects and backgrounds.
Can you enlarge photographs? How large can they be printed?
Theoretically we can enlarge photographs to any printable size (up to 52” by any length) but realistically the subject matter is the number one thing to consider. Both the size and type of texture within a photo will affect the quality as the image is enlarged. Because quality can vary so much, it is best for you bring in your photo or digital file so we may view it and suggest a size.
Do you have different papers that my images can be printed on?
We print on a wide variety of substrates including bond papers, vellum and Mylar, satin paper, fine art paper and canvas. If you are looking for something else- just ask!
What kind of information is helpful for completing a job estimate? (e.g. job size, qty, substrate, will it need custom framing after completion?)
The more specific you are about your needs the better the final product will be. Always specify print size, quantity and color. We print as-is from files. If your will require any adjustments be sure to let us know.
