Artist David Aguiar - Riverside Art

David Aguiar is a hard working artist.  He has been active on the Southcoast for twenty plus years.  David is known throughout our region as an illustrator and as a graphic designer.  He is a graduate of the Swain School of design. As a painter he brings a certain  tactile knowledge and a high level drawing skills into all of his work. 

As the computer world grows, so grows David’s art.  He blends drawing skill, a great sense of color, an experienced technical ability to create modern, engaging, digital paintings.  His work starts with a pencil and paper, (as traditional as time itself), then evolves into the cyber world where it takes on a new contemporary life.

His subject matter will range from his renditions of old classics, (note Alice in David’s Wonderland, and three familiar movie monsters), to more shocking, even controversial imagery.  His stories and images are sharp-witted, insightful and deeply personal.

He is available for consignment work as well as artist prints of his digital portfolio.
